Y-DAPT: Why Adapt?

Y-DAPT is a Milan-based producer and DJ blending house, electro, breaks and bass into a colourful, shape-shifting sound. A Media Designer and lifelong music nerd, he grew artistically while spending time at La MaMa Theatre in New York, immersed in experimental performance, sound and visual culture.

He later expanded his creative path in Los Angeles, working as an art director and producer on several music video projects and travelling across the United States, connecting with electronic artists from around the world and absorbing new club influences.

This multidisciplinary background—half club energy, half visual storytelling—shapes Y-DAPT’s distinctive approach: punchy low-end, playful futurism and genre-bending grooves refined through dedicated mixing and mastering studies with Luca Pretolesi.

Founder of the Milan-based party and label Disco Pastrami, he has released on Another Rhythm, Farris Wheel, MTWAT, Admit One, Youth Control and more, earning support from Fatboy Slim, Anna Lunoe, David Guetta, Claptone, Gorgon City and many others. On stage, Y-DAPT has performed across New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Amsterdam, Barcelona and, of course, his hometown Milan, building a reputation for dynamic, unpredictable DJ sets.
